It was lovely seeing our students back in school this week.
At present the school library is closed to students, but we are hoping to begin a phased return over the next few weeks.
We currently have 961 books that were borrowed by students prior to the lockdown in March which now need to be returned. To make this as easy as possible we have positioned boxes at specific locations around the school and students have been notified as to where these are.
Please could you ask your child to return his/her book to the designated boxes as soon as possible. Unfortunately, we will be unable to issue any new books to students until their library account is clear. To encourage all students to return outstanding library items we will be running a competition this month and the form group that returns the most books during this time will receive a tub of chocolates!
We would ask that if your child’s library book has been lost or damaged you either buy a replacement copy (a decent second-hand copy is acceptable) or contact us on email@example.com and we will advise you as the amount owing. All cheques should then be made payable to Sharnbrook Academy, with your child’s name and Library written on the back please.
If you have any further questions please contact us on the email above and we will respond as soon as we can.
Thank you for your continued support.
