Higher Education Event
7pm on Thursday 23rd January 2020
You are cordially invited to our Higher Education Evening in the main hall. The purpose of this evening is to introduce you, as parents, to the university application process (UCAS) and how we will be supporting your son/daughter here at Sharnbrook.
The application process can be confusing for new users and, from experience, we know that the more support our students get from us, and home, the better. The evening will cover entry requirements, the UCAS process, student life and we will touch on student finance. We will also be reminding you about Unifrog, which is the programme used to support students as they consider the many options for their futures.
Year 12 students will be given the same information earlier in the day at 2.10pm (lesson 5) and therefore will not be required to attend the evening. All students must attend this assembly, even if not currently contemplating higher education, as many change their mind each year and it is vital that everyone has an understanding of how the system works. We will follow up with advice and guidance for those not thinking about higher education, later in the term. Timetabled lessons will be cancelled to enable attendance.
In order to give you the opportunity to have specific issues discussed, please email any questions you would like answered to firstname.lastname@example.org. To reserve your place(s) please click here
If you have any queries about this evening please do not hesitate to contact us.
