Examination Results and Performance Tables


The Government has announced it will not publish any school or college level educational performance data based on tests, assessments or exams for 2020. This update published here clarifies what this means for the way school and college accountability will operate for 2019/20.

GCSE Results 2019

Sharnbrook Academy achieved excellent results in their GCSEs this year.  160 of the highest grade (grade 9) were awarded and our attainment of the highest grades (7-9) was 1.4% above national figures. Eight of our students achieved 6 or more grade 9s detailed below, with two students achieving 9 of these highest grades and three students achieving 8.

Of nearly 4000 GCSE exams taken, 76.7% of these were awarded the standard pass (grade 4) with 59.3% a strong pass (grade 5). 

A Level Results 2019

The Class of 2019 achieved some excellent grades which has secured some places at the world’s best universities, including Oxford University, while others have won highly prized apprenticeships with firms including McIntyre Hudson and Red Bull.

Out of a cohort of 238 students, 74 achieved at least one A*/A grade with 16 students achieving three or more of these top grades.
