In this course, many
different styles of music are studied, together with creating and playing
music. Students need to be able to play
an instrument to at least Grade 5 standard and have GCSE Music at Grade C or
higher.
MUSIC
TECHNOLOGY AS/A2
Students need to be
able to play an instrument to a basic standard and to read music in order to
take this course. They will learn how to
create music using technology. This will
include use of MIDI and Audio Computer Systems and the School’s recording
studios. Students MUST be interested in,
and feel comfortable with, technology, have an open mind about a range of
musical genres and have an interest in recording.
