MATHEMATICS  AS/A2

This course covers Calculus, Probability, Mechanics, Problem Solving techniques, advanced Algebra, Statistics and numerical methods.   The assessment of this course consists of six module exams: one in January and two in June form an AS in Maths, followed by the same pattern in Year 13 to obtain a full A2Level.

FURTHER MATHS  AS/A2

 

This course extends the work done in A level Mathematics and introduces new ideas.  It can only be taken with A/AS Level Mathematics and is a challenging course.  It is recommended for students considering a career in Mathematics or in Theoretical Physics.  Assessment methods are similar to those for the A Level Maths course.

MATHEMATICS GCSE (MODULAR)

This course is suitable for highly committed students who have already covered the Intermediate syllabus at GCSE and who wish to improve their grades.  The course is divided into five modules, two of which are pieces of coursework related to two of the other modules.
