ART
& DESIGN A/AS
This is a broad-based course.
The AS Level is a foundation course where students are given a range of
projects aimed at improving technical and creative skills. Students who wish to will have the opportunity
to develop photography as a significant part of their foundation. The A2 Level builds on the AS course
encouraging students to develop a more independent and personal approach to
their work.

ART &
DESIGN A/AS: Endorsed Photography with Moving Image
This is an endorsed Photography
course under the Art and Design umbrella.
The AS Level offers a broad based introduction to creative lens-based
media. Students are given a range of
projects aimed at developing technical and creative skills in both conventional
darkroom and digital photography, as well as an introduction to
film-making. The A2 Level encourages
students to develop a more personal and independent approach to their work.
