HEALTH AND SOCIAL CARE
Single or Double Award A Level
This course is for students who have an
interest in pursuing a career in education, nursing, social or community services,
and provides a broad introduction to the health and care vocational areas. Units include care practice and provision,
working with early years care and education, complementary therapies, and
understanding human behaviour, to name but a few. An interesting and varied course that has a
strong vocational element.

HISTORY AS/A2
The history course comprises two units
of study for examination that will lead to an AS qualification, with a further
two units at A2 level, one of which is coursework. The units cover Russia in Revolution
1881-1924, Stalin’s Russia 1924-53, and Britain and the Nationalist Challenge
in India 1900-1947. Carrying on to A2,
you will study Germany 1900-1945 – from Kaiser to Fuhrer, and Colonisation
and Decolonisation in Africa, c1870-1981
